The Lugar Series 2019 Opening Reception

Join us for the Lugar Series Opening Reception sponsored by Corteva Agriscience where we will welcome the 30th Lugar Series class and pay tribute to Senator Richard G. Lugar, featuring guest speaker Sara Stefani!
Sara Stefani has received a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Yale University as well as a Masters of Library Science with a specialization in Archives and Records Management from Indiana University. She has worked at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale, as well as at the Sage Historic Costume Collection, the Mathers Museum of World Cultures, and the University Archives, all at Indiana University. She is currently a Visiting Librarian and Project Archivist responsible for the Richard G. Lugar Senatorial Papers at the Indiana University Libraries. She is a co-author (with Dan Diller) of the book Richard G. Lugar: Indiana’s Visionary Statesman, and she was the curator of an exhibition on Senator Lugar’s life and career hosted by the Lilly Library, entitled “Indiana’s Visionary Statesman: The Richard G. Lugar Senate Papers.”
